Service Description

Tuesdays – 8-week tech-focused STEM after-school program for 3rd–5th graders at North Star Elementary. We’re excited to continue our tech journey with Sweet Circuits Lab — a hands-on blend of creativity, coding, and circuitry fun! 🍡 In this session, students will discover how everyday objects like Play-Doh, foil, or even a marshmallow can conduct electricity and connect to their Scratch projects using Makey Makey. Through playful experimentation, students will learn about circuits, conductivity, and interactive design while creating their own unique projects — from games and animations to digital art that responds to real-world touch. Our project-based learning approach encourages both independence and collaboration. Whether your child is brand new to coding or already experienced, they’ll feel right at home exploring how imagination and technology work together. With a student-to-coach ratio of at least 8:1, every child receives the guidance and support they need to thrive in both group and one-on-one settings. This session celebrates the spirit of Computer Science Education Week all season long, inspiring students to think, code, and create with Aloha. 🌺
