What if your child could help invent the technology of tomorrow? Kai Coders and theSTEMlab have joined forces to bring an exciting new STEM innovation experience to North Star Elementary's 4th and 5th graders! Led by Coach Bledsoe and Ms. Geracimos, two award-winning educators with decades of combined experience in technology, STEM education, and student competitions, Future Innovators brings together the best of creative problem-solving, scientific inquiry, and hands-on innovation! Students will work in multidisciplinary teams of four to tackle real-world problems, explore today's technologies, and imagine groundbreaking solutions for the future. Together, they'll research, brainstorm, design, critique, and refine their ideas to develop an original submission for the Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision National STEM Competition! What will students gain? - Confidence to tackle real-world challenges with creative thinking - Critical thinking, research, and responsible AI literacy skills - Engineering design and problem-solving experience - Collaboration, communication, and leadership skills - Firsthand experience participating in a national STEM competition No experience necessary!
