Service Description

Kai Coders is excited to be joining the Cooke Elementary community this fall! While this is our first program at Cooke, we’ve been bringing hands-on coding, STEM, and creative problem-solving experiences to students across our community for years—and we can’t wait to get started with Cooke students. This fall, students become creature designers, coders, and creative problem-solvers as they invent a creature that can live anywhere—in the ocean, in space, in the forest, or even under the bed—and bring it to life with coding, art, and simple circuits. Using Scratch block coding, students will imagine, sketch, code, test, and share their own interactive creations. **No experience necessary—just curiosity!** We provide all of the technology, materials, and supplies students will need. **What Parents Will Notice:** * Increased curiosity about how things move and work * Stronger problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Confidence in testing ideas, making changes, and improving designs * Pride in both hands-on creations and coding projects ✨ Hands-on STEM meets creative coding ✨ Real-world concepts made fun and accessible ✨ Encourages experimentation, creativity, and a growth mindset ✨ Our final class includes a project showcase where families are invited to see what students have created We’re thrilled to begin our partnership with Cooke Elementary and look forward to welcoming our first group of Cooke Coders!
