Our Youngest Learners Take Flight in "Around the World with Code" Camp Inspired by 2024 Paris Olympics

At Kai Coders, our youngest learners are taking coding to new heights in the "Around the World with Code" camp! Designed for 1st and 2nd graders (ages 5-8), this exciting program introduces foundational coding concepts like algorithms, abstraction, events, and loops through the engaging platform of Scratch Jr.

Inspired by the resilience and determination of Olympic athletes, our young coders are also developing a growth mindset as they explore different cultures. Just as athletes push through setbacks to achieve greatness, our students are learning that mistakes are an essential part of the coding process. Whether debugging their projects or experimenting with new ideas, they’re discovering the power of persistence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

The week culminates in a Friday showcase where our budding coders will present their incredible projects. These young tech enthusiasts are building a strong foundation for future success, and we can’t wait to share their achievements!
